Eco Nesting the Home

optimizing the health and function of your homes ecosystem

Because creating a healthier home doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing.
It just has to start somewhere.
And starting gets a whole lot easier when you’re not doing it alone.

Your home should restore you—not drain you
But contaminants in your air, water, and materials can quietly impact your health. Feeling stuck, or unsure where to start? That’s where I come in.
With personalized guidance and simple, doable steps, I’ll help you uncover and reduce environmental stressors—no PhD required.

What is included in the Eco Nesting Guide:
  • Clear explanation of your water report + filter recommendations
  • Air, materials, lighting, EMF & mold awareness
  • Simple lifestyle tweaks with big impact
  • Toxin context (so you know what really matters)
  • Tailored tools, resources & product suggestions based on your priorities

low-tox life isn't the finish line, it's about baby steps that build upon each other, in your own time, within your own capacity.

The areas we focus on are:

Air Quality

Water Quality

Materials Quality

Mold Awareness

EMF’s

Lighting

We spend nearly 90% of our time indoors. If you’re breathing, air quality affects you, with babies, elderly, and the immunocompromised being the most vulnerable. You can breathe easy knowing there are many ways to directly impact air quality in your home, and it’s easier than you may think.

Develop awareness and knowledge on how to mitigate key pollutants and improve overall air quality in your
home environment with us!

Our bodies are made up of roughly 60% water. Both through consumption AND bathing, the water quality in our homes has a direct effect on our overall health. The desire for filtering your water can come with overwhelm, but it doesn’t have to.

Together we’ll look closely at what contaminants may be in your water and make a plan from there, instead of assuming the worst.

From furniture to clothing, cookware to flooring, the chemicals often present in these products can impact our respiratory, hormonal systems, and more. Making material swaps in your home is often expensive and challenging.

But as you may have guessed, we can mitigate the effects of these chemicals by implementing some minor tweaks in habits.

Mold is a pervasive problem that affects millions of people worldwide. It is estimated that approximately 70% of homes have some type of mold in them. Besides property damage, it can cause a range of health problems like mild allergic reactions, respiratory problems, and even long term neurological damage. We educate you with foundational mold hygiene awareness.

Regular cleaning and maintenance, proper ventilation, and prompt remediation of water damage are all effective ways to reduce the risk of mold growth.

Electric and magnetic fields are types of radiation and have now become the fastest growing, most hazardous set of building toxins. Overexposure or sensitivity to EMFs can express with a variety of symptoms from headaches, cellular damage, cancer, to chronic fatigue, and more, with children being the most vulnerable.

Avoiding EMF’s altogether is likely not your goal, so together we can help you make small changes in your home and lifestyle to mitigate the affects of EMF to you and your growing family.

Lighting plays a significant role in our well-being. The strength, color, and even direction of our lighting can influence everything from our sleep cycles to our mood and productivity.

Together we can look at the lighting in your home and build a strategy that supports your family’s rhythms and wellbeing.

Eco Nesting is the 'HOW'...

Just as important as what we do, is HOW we do it.

Yes, we assess the major components of a healthy home environment, but our successful implementation is because it’s through the lens of actionable lifestyle factors customized to your capacity, and with zero judgement.

Eco Nesting the Nursery

Babies are some of the most vulnerable when it comes to our home environments. But why? Babies, especially in utero, are still developing, and don’t have the capacity to process toxic exposures the same way adults do. They also have more exposure. Pound for pound, they have higher respiratory rates, eat and drink more than adults. Read more about why babies are more susceptible to environmental toxins here

Pregnancy is often a major catalyst where families begin thinking differently about well, everything; their lifestyle, surroundings, values, and what they consume, etc. This intuition is no accident, and part of the nesting phenomena.

This growing desire to address the comfort, safety, and security of your home can also at times feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to.
